MEET YOUR INSPECTOR
John is a native North Carolinian and a graduate of Appalachian State University.
In 2006, he founded First Call Property Inspections and has inspected over 5,000 properties in central North Carolina.
He is actively involved in the home inspection community and served as president of the local chapter of the North Carolina Licensed Home Owners Association for many years. He currently teaches new inspectors how to inspect homes through Inspection Certification Associates.
JOHN CAUTHEN
Education
I am a graduate of Inspection Training Associates and have completed Principles of HVAC at North Carolina Central University.
As an NC-licensed home inspector, I complete 12 hours of continuing education each year. As a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, I complete an additional 8 hours of training in addition to attending numerous professional meetings that focus on home inspection and electrical practices.
